What It Actually Checks & Fixes

• Database Version Mismatches: Automatically updates your registry strings (DataVersion, SWIData) if you manually updated your BLP or SDP files, and safely bypasses the strict CheckAppVersion parameter to prevent ISTA+ startup crashes.

• Missing or Incomplete PSdZData: Scans your hard drive (resolving custom Symlinks/Junctions) to calculate exact folder sizes, alerting you if your SDP programming files are incomplete (under 200GB) or missing entirely.

• Broken EDIABAS Configurations: Locates your active ediabas.ini files across the system and automatically rewrites the INTERFACE string to match your selected cable (ENET vs. STD:OBD).

• Windows PATH Errors: Verifies that your EDIABAS installation is properly registered in your Windows Environmental PATH variables to prevent communication drops.

• Programming & Expert Mode Readiness: Evaluates your F/G-Series readiness and automatically enables ISTA+ Expert Mode and Module Programming in the Windows Registry if the required massive SDP files are detected.

• E/R-Series Clarification: Detects if you are trying to program older E-Series vehicles and advises when ISTA-P (with SP-Datens) is required instead of ISTA+.
